Tanya began dancing at the age of five and is a graduate of J&L Dance Center. She later earned her degree in Musical Theatre and went on to build a career spanning dance, voice, acting, choreography, and performance. Over the years, she has had the privilege of coaching students who have gone on to professional careers on Broadway, national tours, and within the recording industry.

Her own performance background is equally diverse. Tanya has performed at prestigious venues including the Metropolitan Opera with her alma mater, Westminster Choir College, and has trained and performed with Latin dance companies including Descarga Latina, Signatura, and NJ Touch. Her artistic background also includes performing in “Moses” an Off Broadway musical at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, as well as professional work in modeling, voice-over, television, singing, acting, and dance.

Her passion for performing eventually grew into an even greater passion for teaching and creating memorable experiences for others. Tanya earned her Master’s degree in Education from Montclair State University and has worked as a Dance Educator in New Jersey public schools for more than a decade. She has presented Latin dance workshops for universities and corporate organizations, coached young performers, and choreographed numerous theatrical productions. Most recently, she was nominated for Best Choreography for her work on Chicago with Memorial High School’s All School Musical.

Today, Tanya brings all of those worlds together through Live Love Dance Center—choreography, performing arts, event coordination, and unforgettable event experiences.

Whether she is preparing a quinceañera for her first dance, coaching a young performer, developing a show-stopping routine, coordinating the details of a celebration, or creating a one-of-a-kind experience for a family, Tanya approaches each project with the same goal: to turn meaningful moments into extraordinary memories.

With thoughtful planning, creative problem-solving, and genuine care for every detail, Tanya strives to make the experience leading up to an event just as special as the celebration itself—allowing her clients to be present, enjoy their moment, and feel confident knowing they are in good hands.
